“There
is infinite variety in the different ways of making prints, and I
find the processes hugely enjoyable. Etching is great for drawing
work, screenprint for photography. I am strongly influenced by the
Japanese methods of woodblock carving and printing. Collagraph is
a voyage of discovery, so versatile."
"My
work at present is in response to the silent dynamism
of the elements of landscape I find around me. Textures, rhythms
and patterns which we did not devise are repeated again and again
in wood, water, leaves, ice.”
